FEAILLEY GHAELGAGH - YOUR LANGUAGE NEEDS YOU!

The fifth Manx Gaelic festival (Feailley Ghaelgagh) will be held from Saturday 20th to Saturday 27th of November. Organised by 'Yn Cheshaght Ghailckagh' (Manx Gaelic Society) the festival will once more promote awareness of the significance of Manx Gaelic to the culture and national identity of Mann, as well as providing an opportunity for Manx speakers and activists to celebrate their achievements during the year.

Feailley Ghaelgagh has been successful in previous years thanks largely to the generous help and support of Manx business, the Isle of Man Government and the Manx people, and is now well established as an important vehicle for the promotion and development of Manx Gaelic. If you would like to help with this year's Feailley or find out more contact Phil Gawne at Thie Vaddrell, Cregneash, Mannin IM9 5PT, phone 834844 or e-mail [email protected].

MANX NIGHT

A Manx speaking night is to be held at the Point, Port St Mary, on Friday 20th August at or soon after nine o'clock. This will give an opportunity for Manx speakers and learners to use their Manx and we can have a bit of a singing session while we're at it.
