olk— bad; smessey— worse, worst.

beg— little: sloo— less, least.

mooar— big, smoo— bigger, more, biggest, most.

ymmodee— many; slee— more most.

mennick— frequent: smenkey— oftener, oftenest.

faggys— near. sniessey— nearer, next.

leah— soon; sleaie— sooner, soonest.

foddey— far; sodjey — farther, farthest.

lhean— wide; shlea— wider, widest.

aeg— young, saa— younger, youngest.

shenn— old; shinney— older, eldest.

lajer— strong; stroshey— stronger, strongest.

trome— heavy; strimmey— heavier, heaviest

ard— high; syrjey— higher, highest.

aashagh— easy; sassey— easier, easiest.

chiu— dense, s'chee— denser, densest

çheh— hot: schoe— hotter, hottest.

lt will be seen that in these irregular adjectives and adverbs the initials of the comparative and superlative is usually written without the apostrophe. Several other adjectives are more or less irregular—
